I went down to Raleigh yesterday to see my good friends at Burning Oak Studios. We did a little photo shoot to help promote the videos we did last summer. It was great seeing everyone again. They were kind enough to give me a copy of the brand new Super Official Bob Ostrom Studio How to Draw Animals DVD….and just between you and me I hear these things are selling like hotcakes.

I had so much fun yesterday I decided to do a little photo shoot of my own here at Bob Ostrom Studio. Here are a few pics. Enjoy.

I was doing a little writing the other day and decided that one of the characters I was writing about needed a face. So here’s Greg the dog… oh ,and if you’re my brother Gregg no worries this isn’t about you. I even spelled his name differently so there would be no confusion.

Speaking of my brother, I’ll be featuring a video soon where my brother, the amazingly talented Gregg Ostrom, composed and played all the music. You guys are going to love it. He plays a mean guitar. You can check him out here playing with Emily Hurd.

New DVD is Out!!!

Hey guys, as you know since last summer I’ve been working on the Super Official Bob Ostrom Studio How to Draw DVD/Video tutorial series. You’ve seen a few of the free art lessons on line but now the first in the DVD series is ready to go.

I spotted them down at the Art of the Carolinas show on Sunday and word has it they can barely keep them on the shelves. I couldn’t be more thrilled. The production company Burning Oaks Studio has done a fantastic job with them and they just look great. I’ll have more info on how you can get your very own copy real soon.
