How to draw dinosaur Lesson 3 How to Draw a DinosaurMost people don’t know this but dinosaur’s were terrific artists. The problem was that they didn’t use materials that lasted very long so hardly anyone knows.  If you ask a paleontologist (someone who studies fossils) they will tell you that dinosaurs were excellent at sand castle building, interpretive dance, egg decorating and ice sculpting. The ice sculpting of course came at the very end of the dinosaur age which goes without saying.

Dinosaurs were live in the moment kind of creatures. They didn’t spend time worrying about weather their art would last they were more interested in the art itself. Dinosaurs were not only good artists but appreciated good art as well which is why if a dinosaur saw you drawing him he’d most likely be very proud.

For this exercise you will need:

  • A pencil
  • An eraser
  • Paper
  • A pen
  • Something to color with
  • A paleontologist (optional)

how to dtaw a raccon Lesson 4 How to Draw a RaccoonRaccoons sure are cute. They are very clever and and are excellent climbers. Raccoons are also extremely dexterous, which mean they are good at using their paws to get into all sorts of things. Raccoons will eat just about anything too. If a raccoon got into your house he would most likely head straight for your kitchen looking for something yummy to eat. Raccoons are not very good at cleaning up after themselves so he would probably leave a big giant mess for you to straighten up after he left. Sometimes it’s just more fun to draw raccoons then it is to invite them into your house.

For this exercise you will need:

  • A pencil
  • An eraser
  • Paper
  • A pen
  • Something to color with
  • A garbage can with a nice tight lid (optional)….

Penguins love to eat fish and are excellent swimmers. Even though penguins are birds they can not fly unless they were sitting in an airplane. Could you imagine sitting next a penguin on your next flight? He would probably be very noisy and try to steal your sardine sandwich.

For this exercise you will need:

  • A pencil
  • An eraser
  • Paper
  • A pen
  • Something to color with
  • A tuxedo (optional)
